Even if they had good clothes, I would not buy them purely because their ads suck.

Ahhhh no nonsense ads. That would explain those ones where their staff are running around like idiots.
I haven't seen those ads. Still, from the ad's I have seen which are the majority, rivers is a hick store that sells hick clothes to hicks. Hick!
And if I saw a hick wearing them, I wouldn't be surprised.
